- The Searchlight -
This site is the
creation of
Alan Schneider. Alan is very concerned
about the condition of our world today, and has decided to present this Site as a place where positive images,
information, and concepts can be collected, enhanced, and,
most importantly, disseminated to other similarly concerned
people around the world...
The Searchlight was written
as a series of electronic "scrolls", hence, there are no
page numbers or pagination - rendering the content as
mirroring the texts of antiquity, which were almost
exclusively composed in this fashion. It is suggested that
the reader select a dedicated browser specifically for
viewing this site, then open a given document and read until
some external or internal factors compel rest, leaving the
document open at that point to be returned to later.
Most of the essays are relatively short and can be read in
this manor conveniently.
The
Doors In Disguise
chapters are more lengthy and it is suggested that the
tracker indicator at the right side of the screen may be
used as an approximate marker if the chapter must be left by
the reader. The author realizes
that this is cumbersome, and as an assist to the reader, has
enumerated the paragraphs in each chapter. Much of this site
emerged into his consciousness directly from Spirit, and he
largely
transcribed it verbatim. The Mind of God is not numerically
delineated!
This
having been said, the earth upon which we all must live today is
challenged -- by pollution, by human ignorance, by negative
emotional states, by the enormous burden of our very race on
a strained base of planetary resources, and by a profound
spiritual vacuum of unprecedented pervasiveness -- one which
reaches into every phase of life, and into almost every
human heart and mind.
If this spiritual void is not recognized for the menace that
it is, and corrective measures are not taken, we must fear
for the very existence of this planet, and particularly for the
future generations to come -- the children of today and
tomorrow. It is for these as yet only partially formed human
beings that the gift of this Site has been forged.
The image chosen to present here is shown above -- a human
being seated in the Yoga Lotus position. Alan believes that the practices of Yoga and
Meditation are the keys to the consciousness which can yet
deliver the human race from destruction. When the Chakras of
Consciousness are conceptually superimposed on the spiritual
human being, the map of spiritual progression for all human
beings on this Earth is thus revealed.
A new consciousness and mindset are emerging at this
time in the world, a consciousness of some higher purpose
beyond the obsessive collection of objects, and a mind set
encompassing the whole race of humanity, and, indeed the
world and the universe, as One Being expressed in many forms
-- in a United Condition of existence. You are invited to join
